Now for something a little different, and fun!
As I am sitting here all bundled up inside, with a cup of vanilla coffee, and a thick blanket of freshly-fallen snow outside, I am drawn to the bright images of confectionary art.
There are a couple of things I am particularly drawn to, which also have to do with a bit of nostalgia. (See, it is related to my work!) These spumoni-colored Rainbow Italian Cookies can be seen over at Cake & Knife: A cute little cooking and baking blog with gorgeous photos and lovely simple recipes. https://www.cakenknife.com/italian-rainbow-cookies/
Rainbow Sprinkles are such a delight to me.

And these Softbatch Funfetti Sugar Cookies at Averie Cooks:
Or heck, even these Edible Sprinkle Bowls for Ice Cream!
Looking for something a little more natural? Check out India Tree, based right here out of Seattle! They have natural colors, sugars, sprinkles, and decoratifs. They even have recipes, coloring guides, and tutorials!
I am thinking I want to bake a little nostalgia. For more inspiration, check out my Pinterest board with some fun foods!
