I love hearing about children that become obsessed with their "favorite shirts" which they insist on wearing for days on end. I just received another lovely email from a customer who said their "horse obsessed daughter" has worn her shirt for two days straight.
This brings back so many memories of my own childhood, as well as my daughters' insistence on wearing a favorite item. I have always felt that it was a way for them to use some of their own power - choosing what they wear allows them to present themselves as they wish. Further, it sort of takes a bit of the struggle out of dressing a moving target. Such a small consolation... Offering items that you know they will like, that are also super-cool, is a win-win!
